Lee Perry foi o fundador do estúdio Black Ark, por onde passaram muitos dos grandes nomes da música jamaicana, incluindo o próprio Bob Marley no início de sua carreira. Perry também foi o inventor do estilo dub.

Last week, graphic artist Neville Garrick passed away (November 14, 2023). One of reggae's most important graphic artists, Neville was responsible for most of Bob Marley's album covers. In addition, he collaborated with other names in Jamaican music, such as Burning Spear, Bunny Wailer, among others.
Neville's death was announced by his family last Wednesday. On the other hand, Lee Perry, one of the greatest reggae producers, will receive another posthumous album, now titled "King Perry". The release of the material is scheduled for August 2, 2024.
Lee Perry was the founder of the Black Ark studio, where many of the biggest names in Jamaican music passed, including Bob Marley himself at the beginning of his career. Perry was also the inventor of the dub style.
